PAGE 1 OF 3 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 N~ RESOLUTION NO. 94-351 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REZONE OF A PORTION OF THE SW\, SW~ OF SECTION 13, TOWNSHIP 27 NORTH, RANGE 21 WEST, FROM A-R (AGRICULTURAL- RESIDENTIAL) ZONE TO C-2H (GENERAL-COMMERCIAL HIGHWAY FRONTAGE) ZONE IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA. MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on October 4, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Rezone for the above described property to Aqua-Glider Co. of Granada Hills, California, and WHEREAS, the land is located east of Highway 93 and north of White Hills Road. The site is accessed from Highway 93, and WHEREAS, the surrounding land uses consist of a restaurant, gas/service station and warehouse to the north, an RV park to the east, and a residential subdivision (Triangle Air Park) to the south. The remaining area is vacant, and WHEREAS, the site proposed for C-2H zoning is a portion of a 30- acre parcel. The only portion to be zoned C-2H will be wi thin 300 feet of Highway 93, and WHEREAS, review of FlOOdplain Map #040058-1600B indicates this parcel is located in Zone C, an area of minimal flooding, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on September 14, 1994, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for a Rezone subj.ect to the following: 1. The parcel be zoned C-2H/2A (General-Commercial Highway Frontage/Two Acre Minimum Lot Size). 2_ The commercial zoning area to be designated per Exhibit A. 3. That appropriate zoning, building, floodplain permits be obtained. and environmental 4. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of the Mohave County Zoning Regulations and Section 27.P (Site Plan Requitements) prior to the opening for business. . - . , . The Rezone shall not become effective until 30 days after final approval of the change in classification by the Board of Supervisors, as per ARS 11-829E, and all conditions of the Rezone have been satisfied. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general Circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona. September 18. 1994, and posted September 16. 1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, October 4, 1994, APPROVED this Rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
