A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REZONE OF OF PARCEL 36-E, PARCEL PLATS
BOOK 6, PAGE 32, SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 18 WEST FROM A-
R/3A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/THREE ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) TO A-R/lA
(AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/ONE ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) IN THE GOLDEN
VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors held on October 4, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to
determine whether approval should be granted for a Rezone for the
above described property to Tina paul of Moorpark, California, and
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS, the property is primarily flat, There are no
significant washes or drainage that cross the property, and
WHEREAS, there are residences to the north, west and south of the
property and vacant land to the east. There is a mobile home on the
property which does not appear to be occupied, and
WHEREAS, electric power is available which runs north and south
along the eastern boundary of the parcel, and
WHEREAS, review of FEMA Floodplain Map #040058-2325B indicates
this parcel is located within Zone C, an area of minimal flooding, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Conunission on September 14, 1994, the Commission
recommended APPROVAL for a Rezone subject to the following;
1. The parcel be zoned A-R/IA (Agricultural-Residential/One
Acre Minimum Lot Size).
2. Submittal and recordation of a Parcel Plat prepared in
accordance wi th Article 3. 16 of the Mohave County
Subdivision Regulations and I02.04-B of the Standard
Specifications.
3. Each parcel shall meet or exceed its respecti ve acreage

7. The Rezone shall not become effective for 30 days after

classification, as per AAS 11-829E, and all conditions of
the Rezone have been satisfied.
8. If these conditions are not met within one year, this
approval will be void. If at the expiration of this period
the property has not been improved to meet the use for which
it was conditionally approved, the Board (after notification
by registered mail to the owner and applicant who requested
the rezoning) shall schedule a public hearing to grant an
extension, determine compliance with the SChedule for
development, or cause the property to revert to its former
zoning classification. This action is in accordance with
Arizona Revised Statutes Annotated, Title 11, Chapter 6, 11-
832.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily
Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County,
Arizona, September 18, 1994, and posted September 16, 1994, as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning
Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at
their regular meeting on Tuesday, October 4, 1994, APPROVED this
Rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning
Commission and outlined herein.
