PAGE 1 OF 2 ~OHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 Ne RESOLUTION NO. 94-305 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ZQNING USE PERMIT ON A PORTION OF THE E~ OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 20 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN OFF-PREMISE SIGN IN A C-2H/7A (GENERAL COMMERCIAL HIGHWAY FRONTAGE/SEVEN ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of SuperVisors held on September 6, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval Should be granted for a Zoning Use Permit for the above described property to Phillips Investment Company, an Arizona General Partnership, and applicant Young Electric Sign Company of Las Vegas, Nevada, and WHEREAS, the property is located east of Interstate 40 and north of the I-40/McConnico interchange. The site is fronted on the north boundary by Highway 66, whiCh provides access to the site, and WHEREAS, the surrounding area is primarily vacant with a few commercial businesses to the north along Highway 66, and WHEREAS, the site consists Of a fuel restaurant, truck wash and large truck parking also some above-ground tanks on the site, and filling station, area. MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 2. That appropriate zoning, building, environmental and floodplain permits be obtained. 3. If construction or use has not commenced wi thin one year of Board approval of the Zoning Use Permit or if the use has been discontinued for six months, then approval Shall terminate at that date. 4. This Zoning Use Permit is subject to revocation upon 60 days notification by the Board of Supervisors if, in the opinion of the Commission and Board, the continued use of the property would be contrary to the public health, safety, and welfare. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, August 21, 1994, and posted August 22, 1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 6, 1994, APPROVED this Zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
