PAGE 1 OF 3 rlOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 HG RESOLUTION NO. 94-303 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF AN RV PARK PLAN FOR OGDEN RV PARK LOCATED ON LOTS 243, 244, 250 AND 251, MEADVIEW UNIT 9, TRACT 1161, SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 30 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, IN THE MEADVIEW PORTION OF THE MORAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the MOhave County Board of Supervisors held September 6, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an RV park plan for Ogden RV Park, and WHEREAS, the owner/developer of this property is Dennis Ogden of Meadview, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the engineering firm responsible for the design of this RV park and the preparation of the drainage report is Mohave Engineering Associates of Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, this proposed RV park is located approximately two miles south of Meadview on the east side of Pierce Ferry ROad. All roads and parking areas wi thin the RV park will be gravel- surfaced private roads, and WHEREAS, the developer is proposing that electric service will be supplied by Mohave Electric Cooperative, sewage disposal will be by on-site septic system, and solid waste will be COllected and transported - by private carrier. Water, electric and sewer drops will be extended to service each space. Water will be hauled from High Deserts Water Company by licensed carrier and stored on-site in a 3,400-gallon tank. Fire protection for this RV park will be provided by Meadview Emergency Services. The RV park is being established without the required water infrastructure for fire suppression via a variance granted by the Arizona State Fire Marshal's Office, and WHEREAS, the submitted plan depicts a 4.34-acre parcel which provides for 34 back-in seasonal spaces and 6 Off-street parking spaces_ Only independent RVs will be allowed. There will be no permanent structures erected on-site, and[;000072 G WHEREAS, a Zoning Use Permit for the RV park was granted November 1, 1993, via BOS ReSOlution No. 93-320, and ., -"" .... . . RESOLUTION NO. 94-303 Page 2 PAGE 2 OF 3 BK 2*61 PG 20 (FEE~9+-~3550) WHEREAS, at a public hearing on August 10, 1994, the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended APPROVAL of the RV park plan subject to the following: 1. Compliance with applicable conditions of BOS Resolution No. 93-320. 2. Spaces within this parcel will be for temporary rental purposes only. Spaces shall not be offered for sale. 3. All improvements and drainage related items are to be constructed as delineated in the RV Park Plan as approved by the MOhave County Engineer. 4. All appropriate zoning, building, environmental, and floodplain permits must be obtained. 5. The owner of the park shall furnish as-buil ts and request an inspection by the County Engineer when the RV park has been completed. The inspection shall determine that all improvements have been satisfactorily completed prior to use or occupancy of the park. 6. A one-foot wide vehicular non-access easement and woven wire fence shall be erected along the north and south boundaries of the RV park to prevent passage of vehicles onto adjoining land.
