RESOLUTION NO. 95-36
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A REZONE OF LOT 113,
BERMUDA PLANTATIONS, UNIT 2, SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 17 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST,
FROM R-E (RESIDENTIAL-RECREATION) ZONE TO C-2/25M (GENERAL-
COMMERCIALITWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND SQUARE FOOT MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE
IN THE SOUTH MORA VE VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on February
6, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension
of Time for the above described property to owners 1. P. and Mary Gerami of Garden Grove, California, and
WHEREAS, the property is located on the southeast comer of Harbor Avenue and Vacation Drive,
and
WHEREAS, the property is currently vacant and improvements have not been completed in
connection with the establishment of a commercial business, and
WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors on January 7, 1991 per BOS Resolution No. 91-8 to J. P. and Mary Gerami, Robert Stephens
and Leonard J. and Mary T. Mallis, all of Garden Grove, California. On June 1, 1992 the Mohave County
Board of Supervisors approved BOS Resolution No. 92-183 for an Extension of Time. A second Extension
of Time was granted per BOS Resolution No, 93-276 on October 4, 1993. BOS Resolution No. 94-100 was
approved granting a third Extension of Time on April 4, 1994, and
WHEREAS, the applicant requested in a letter dated November 11, 1994, that the rezoning be
extended for one year. The letter states, "We are still waiting for sewer to become available in order to meet
the remaining conditions," and
WHEREAS, this will be the fourth Extension of Time for this property, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
January 11, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time for a rezone
subject to the following:

1. Continued compliance with the conditions ofBOS Resolution Nos. 91-S, 92-lS3, 93-276
and 94-100.
2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until January 7, 1996.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of
general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, January 22, 1995, and posted January 20, 1995,
as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Monday, February 6, 1995, APPROVED this Extension of Time for a rezone as recommended by the
Mohave County Plarming and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
