HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-034 :; ~. eo5 . 3 INDEXED tnnOOlIJIIt RESOLUTION NO. 95-34 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A REZONE OF LOT 105, BERMUDA PLANTATIONS, UNIT 2, SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 17 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, FROM R-E (RESIDENTIAL-RECREATION) ZONE TO C-2125M (GENERAL-COMMERCIAL! TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND SQUARE FOOT MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE IN THE SOUTH MOHA VE VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on February 6, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time for the above described property to owner Lee Chambers of Flagstaff, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the property is located on the northeast comer of Harbor Avenue and Levee Drive, and WHEREAS, the property is currently vacant, with the surrounding land uses consisting of primarily residential homes with commercial property along Harbor Avenue, and WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on January 7,1991, per BOS Resolution No. 91-9 to Knox E. McCloy and Aaron and Ruth Hunton of Torrance, California. On June I, 1992 the Mohave County Board of Supervisors approved BOS Resolution No. 92-182 for an Extension of Time for this rezoning to Lee Chambers of Flagstaff, Arizona, A second Extension of Time was granted per BOS Resolution No. 93-248 on September 7,1993. On July 5, 1994, BOS Resolution No. 94-209 granted a third Extension of Time, and WHEREAS, the applicant requested in a letter dated November 4, 1994, that the rezoning be extended for one year. The letter states, "We are still waiting for sewer to become available in order to meet the remaining conditions. At which time sewer does become available, we will submit our parcel plat and all other requirements shall be addressed," and WHEREAS, this will be the fourth Extension of Time for this property, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on January 11, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time for a rezone subject to the following: I. Continued compliance with the conditions ofBOS Resolution Nos. 91-9, 92-182, 93-248 and 94-209. .".. . . RESOLUTION NO. 95-34 Page 2 PAGE 2 OF 2 BK 2526 PG 568 (F~E~95- 7516) 2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until January 7, 1996. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, January 22,1995, and posted January 20,1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, February 6, 1995, APPROVED this Extension of Time for a rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
