RESOLUTION NO. 95-9
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REZONE OF LOT 155 OF MEADVIEW CITY CENTER,
TRACT 1197, LOCATED IN SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 30 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, FROM
C-2110M (GENERAL COMMERCIALffEN THOUSAND SQUARE FEET MINIMUM LOT SIZE)
ZONE TO CoM (COMMERCIAL-MANUFACTURING) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE MEADVIEW
PORTION OF THE MOHA VE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on January
3, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Rezone for
the above described property to Lester R. and Judith A. Newsome of Meadview, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the property is located in the Meadview City Center on Bradley Bay Drive. The
property is accessed from Highway 93 via Pierce Ferry Road north to Meadview Boulevard, then east on
Meadview Boulevard to Escalante Boulevard, then south on Escalante Boulevard to Bradley Bay Drive. The
site is located on the northwest comer of Escalante Boulevard and Bradley Bay Drive, and
WHEREAS, the surrounding land uses consist of other commercial uses and a few residences. Most
of the adjacent lots are vacant. The developer proposes to manufacture ceramic tile liners, and
WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-1300B indicates this parcel to be in Zone C, not
in the FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area; a floodplain use permit is not required, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
December 14, 1994, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for a Rezone subject to the following:
1. The property be zoned C-M (Commercial-Manufacturing).
2. That the appropriate zoning, building, environmental and floodplain permits be obtained
prior to establishing use.
3. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of the Mohave County Zoning
Regulations and Section 27.P (Site Plan Requirements) prior to establishing use.
4. The Rezone shall not become effective until 30 days after final approval of the change in
classification by the Board of Supervisors, as per ARS J 1-829E.

WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of
general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, December 18, 1994, and posted December 19,
1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Tuesday, January 3,1995, APPROVED this Rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
