RESOLUTION NO. 95-5 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A REZONE OF LOT 5, BLOCK J, GOLDEN SAGE RANCHOS, UNIT 56, SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, FROM A-R (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL) TO C-2H (GENERAL COMMERCIAL HIGHWAY FRONTAGE) IN THE GOLDEN V ALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on January 3, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time for a Rezone for the above described property to owners Mohave Development, Inc., of Westlake Village, California, and WHEREAS, the property is located south of Highway 68 and one mile west of Highway 93, and WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on December 3, 1990, per Resolution No. 90-369. On December 2, 1991, an Extension of Time was granted per BaS Resolution No. 91-318; a second Extension of Time was granted per BOS Resolution No. 93-35 on February I, 1993, and on February I, 1994 a third Extension of time was granted per BaS Resolution No. 94-46, and WHEREAS, the applicant is requesting an Extension of Time "due to poor economic conditions I am not at this time ready to perform the construction that is required by the resolution," as stated in his letter dated November I, 1994, and WHEREAS, also in his letter, the applicant stated that the Valley Pioneer Water Company main water line has been extended across Highway 68 along Kayenta Road, which borders his property, and WHEREAS, this will be the fourth Extension of Time, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on December 14, 1994, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time for a Rezone subject to the following: I. Continued compliance with conditions of BaS Resolution Nos. 90-369, 91-318, 93-35 and 94-46. 2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until December 2, 1995. . ... . . RESOLUTION NO. 95-5 Page 2 PAGE 2 OF 2 811 ~510 PG 4?7 (FEE~95- 373) WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, December 18, 1994, and posted December 19, 1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, January 3,1995, APPROVED this Extension of Time for a Rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
