A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A ZONING USE PERMIT
FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN RV PARKIN AN A-R (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL)
ZONE IN A PORTION OF THE NW 1/4, NW 1/4 OF SECTION 14 AND A PORTION OF THE SW
1/4, SW 1/4 OF SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 23 NORTH, RANGE 15 WEST, IN THE MOHA VE
COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on February
6, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension
of Time for the above described property to the applicant Valle Vista R-V of Kingman, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the property is located north of Highway 66 and east of the Valle Vista Subdivision
and can be accessed from Highway 66 and Valle Vista Subdivision via Tower Drive, and
WHEREAS, the proposed RV park consists of26 seasonal spaces and 12 pull-through spaces, a
restroom/shower and an RV storage area. The developer is proposing an access road from Highway 66 and
a secondary access through the Valle Vista Subdivision from Tower Drive. The site provides 25-foot private
roadways for access to the spaces and additional automobile parking spaces. A power line easement and
landscape buffer will be provided between the RV park and the Valle Vista Subdivision to the west, and
WHEREAS, the owner is proposing to develop the site in two phases. Engineering plans have been
submitted for review to the Planning and Zoning Department so that the park plan can be processed
simultaneously with the Zoning Use Permit, and
WHEREAS, the surrounding property is primarily vacant, with most of the uses consisting of
residential homes, and
WHEREAS, this Zoning Use Permit was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors on February I, 1994 per BOS Resolution No. 94-51, and
WHEREAS, the applicant requested in a letter dated November 22, 1994, that the Zoning Use
Permit be extended for one year. The letter states, "We have made substantial progress in the construction
of the park but have been unable to secure approval from Arizona Department of Environmental Quality
(ADEQ) for the septic system. We have completed the grading and drainage, including the roads. The
landscape barriers have been planted and the irrigation systems are in place and functioning. The main
power has been brought to the property and the transformer is in place on site. The main water line have
been installed along with the fire hydrants. It is anticipated that final completion could be achieved within
sixty days after approval from ADEQ," and

WHEREAS, this will be the first Extension of Time for this property, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Plaooing and Zoning Commission on
January II, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time for a Zoning Use
Permit subject to the following:
I. Continued compliance with the conditions ofBOS Resolution No. 94-51.
2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until February 1, 1996.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of
general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, January 22, 1995, and posted January 20, 1995,
as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Monday, February 6, 1995, APPROVED this Extension of Time for a Zoning Use Permit as
recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
