RESOLUTION NO. 95-144 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REZONE OF LAKE MOHA VE RANCHOS, UNIT 2, LOT 137, IN SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 25 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, FROM A (GENERAL) ZONE TO A-R (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL) ZONE, IN THE MOHA VE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on April 3, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Rezone for the above described property to Harold Marvin Santee and Mary Lou Grasseschi of Dolan Springs, Arizona and WHEREAS, the applicant is requesting this zone change to allow the construction of a new residence and wishes to split this two and one-half acre lot into two one and one-quarter acre lots. The site is located on Holly Drive southeast of Pierce Ferry Road and Highway 93. The site is accessed from the Pierce Ferry Road via east on Ninth Street to Holly Drive, then south on Holly Drive to the site. The site is located on the west side of Holly Drive on the southwest corner of Holly Drive and Eighth Street, and WHEREAS, the land is relatively flat and slightly sloping to the west toward Highway 93. The surrounding land uses consist of a few scattered residential dwellings with the remainder of the area vacant, and WHEREAS, the Public Works Department recommends that this rezone be denied due to inadequate infrastructure in this area, and WHEREAS, this property is one and one-half miles south of the Dolan Springs community area and the Commission must find that this property is within the outlying community of Dolan Springs in order to approve this rezone, and WHEREAS, review ofFEMA FIRM Panel #040058-1800B indicates this parcel to be in Zone C, not in the FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area. A Floodplain Use Permit is not required, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on March 8, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for a Rezone subject to the following: 1. This property will be rezoned A-R (Agricultural-Residential). 2. The submittal and recordation of a Record of Survey prepared in accordance with the Mohave County standards. 3. The appropriate zoning, building, environmental and floodplain permits will be obtained. RESOLUTION NO. 95-144 Page 2 ~ . . ~- 4. The rezone shall not become effective until 30 days after final approval of the change in classification by the Board of Supervisors, as per ARS 11-829E. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, March 19, 1995, and posted March 17, 1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, April 3, 1995, APPROVED this Rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
