RESOLUTION NO. 95-105 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN ABANDONMENT OF A ROADWAY KNOWN AS CAL- ARI DRIVE, SECTION 13, TOWNSHIP 17 NORTH, RANGE 18 WEST IN THE MOHA VE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on March 10, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an abandonment for the above described property to Scott Paper Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, being represented by Don VanBrunt of the Mohave County Economic Development Authority of Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the property is located south of the Yucca townsite between Interstate 40 and the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way. This land is accessed via Interstate 40, then west at the Alamo Road exit, then west on Alamo Road to the site, and WHEREAS, the owner proposes to abandon the remaining I 34-foot section of Cal-Ari Drive. Legal access to the property is from a dedicated section line road located on the northern boundary of the property. The 134-foot section is comprised of the 84-foot dedicated Cal-Ari Drive, as shown in Book 208, Page 35, depicting the Ca1-Ari Industrial Park, Tract #1094, and an additional dedication of a 50-foot section on the southern boundary of Cal-Ari Drive as required by Item No.6 ofBOS Resolution No. 94-277, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on February 8, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Abandonment subject to the following: 1. That the remaining section of Cal-Ari Drive, being 1,526 feet in length and 134 feet in width, located in Section 13, Township 17 North, Range 18 West in the Mohave County General Area, Mohave County, Arizona, be abandoned. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, February 19, 1995, and February 26, 1995, and posted on February 17, 1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. .. . . . PAGE 2 OF 2 8K 2538 PG 810 (FEE09S-128~2) Page 2 RESOLUTION NO. 95-105 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Friday, March 10, 1995, APPROVED this Abandonment as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
