PAGE 1 OF 2 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDIMG FEE 0.00 He RESOLUTION NO. 95-249 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A ZONING USE PERMIT ON NEW KINGMAN ADDITION, UNIT 8, TRACT 1101, BLOCK 114, LOT 34, IN SECTION 30, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A RESIDENCE IN A c-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) ZONE, IN THE KINGMAN AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on June 5, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time for the above described property as requested by Keith R. O'Camb of Riverside, California, and WHEREAS, the property is located north of Northern Avenue and west of North Bank Street. The property is accessed from Northern Avenue via north on North Bank Street to Neal A venue, then west to the property. The property is located on the north side of Neal Avenue, and WHEREAS, the property is vacant and flat. The site is surrounded by single-family homes. The general area consists of residential homes, vacant land and a few commercial businesses along North Bank Street and Northern Avenue, and WHEREAS, this Zoning Use Permit was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on May 2, 1994 per BOS Resolution No. 94-157, and WHEREAS, the applicant requested in a letter dated March 20, 1995, that the Zoning Use Permit be extended for one year. The letter stated that he had a temporary financial setback in 1994, but believes that he will be able to develop the property within a year, and WHEREAS, the requirement of the new Extension of Time policy has been met. This will be the first Extension of Time for this property, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on May 10, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time for a Zoning Use Permit subject to the following: 1. Continued compliance with the conditions ofBOS Resolution No. 94-157. 2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until May 2,1996. RESOLUTION NO. 95-249 Page 2 . .. I PAGE 2 OF 2 BK 2~77 PG 573 (FEE~95-29321) WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 21,1995, and posted May 19, 1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, June 5,1995, APPROVED this Extension of Time for a Zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
