HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-240 r . . ~~ 7 r MlCROfllME11 ~ J INDEXED ~95- 35905 BK 2593 PG 30L RESOLUTION NO. 95-240 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A ZONING USE PERMIT ON A PORTION OF THE NY, SEY.i OF SECTION 34, TOWNSillP 21 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN RV AND MOBILE HOME PARK IN AN A-R (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL) ZONE, IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on July 5, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time for the above described property as requested by Mohave Concrete and Materials, Inc. of Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the property is located west of 1-40 and north of the I-40/0atman Road interchange. The property is accessed from 1-40 via the Oatman Road exit to the frontage road, then north on the frontage road to the site. The site is located on the north side of the frontage road, and WHEREAS, the property has five site-built homes and two mobile homes on it. The surrounding area is primarily vacant. A concretelblock plant lies to the west and scattered residential homes to the north of the site, and WHEREAS, this Zoning Use Permit was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on March 9, 1993 per BaS Resolution No. 92-68 to Victor and Deloris Mack of Kingman, Arizona. The first Extension of Time was granted to Mohave Concrete and Materials, Inc. via BaS Resolution No. 93-319 on November 1, 1993. A second Extension of Time was granted with BaS Resolution No. 94-384 on November 3,1994, being in effect until March 9,1995, and WHEREAS, the applicant requested in a letter dated March 28, 1995, that the Zoning Use Permit be extended for one year. The letter stated that they, Mohave Concrete and Materials, Inc., had not received notice that the extension of time for BaS Resolution No. 92-68 was to expire on March 13, 1995. The notification letter had been sent to the previous owners, Victor and Deloris Mack, and WHEREAS, this will be the third Extension of Time for this property, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on May 10, 1995, the Commission recommended DENIAL for an Extension of Time for a Zoning Use Permit based upon the following: ( - . . RESOLUTION NO. 95-240 Page 2 P~GE 2 OF 2 BK 2593 PG 309 (FEE~95-35905l l. The applicant has had enough time to accompl ish the conditions as required by BOS Resolution Nos. 92-98, 93-319, and 94-384. As of this time, nothing has been done to meet any of these requirements. 2. The requirements of the new Extension of Time policy have not been met. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 21, 1995, and posted May 19, 1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Wednesday, July 5, 1995, APPROVED this Extension of Time for a Zoning Use Permit for six months only, subject to the following conditions: I.
