PAGE 1 OF 3 MDHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS kECORDIHG FEE 0,00 Nt: RESOLUTION NO. 95-239 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REZONE OF A PORTION OF THE SYZ OF PARCEL 41, IN SECTION 10, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 18 WEST, FROM A-R/I0A (AGRICULTURAL- RESIDENTIAL/TEN ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE TO C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) ZONE, IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on June 5, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Rezone for the above described property as requested by Adobe Mobile Home and RV Park, Inc. of Golden Valley, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the applicant is requesting this zone change to allow the placement of an on-premise sign on their property. The site is located north of Highway 68 between Adobe and Ajo Roads. The property is accessed from Highway 68 via north on Adobe Road to Apache Way, a private road, then east on Apache Way to the site, and WHEREAS, the property is flat and is presently occupied with the Adobe Mobile Home and RV Park. The surrounding land uses consist of several homes to the east, west and north, and WHEREAS, review ofFEMA FIRM Panel #040058-2325B indicates this parcel to be in Zone C, not in the FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area. A Floodplain Use Permit is not required, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on May 10, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for a Rezone subject to the following: 1. This property "W-ill be rezoned C-2 (General Commercial) and is defmed as a 158.29-foot by 131-foot parcel with 20-foot radius curves at each corner bordered by Apache Way on the north side, Blue Cloud Circle on the east and west sides, and Eagle Circle on the south side as shown in Exhibit" A" . 2. The applicant shall comply with all applicable provisions of the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. Section 27.P (Site Plan Requirements) must be completed and approved prior to approval of permits. The sign must comply with the provisions of Section 31, the Sign Ordinance. 3. The appropriate zoning, building, environmental and floodplain permits will be obtained. The rezone shall not become effective until 30 days after final approval of the change in classification by the Board of Supervisors, as per ARS 11-829E. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 21, 1995, and posted May 19, 1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, June 5, 1995, APPROVED this Rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
