PAGE 1 OF 2 nOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECOROI~G fEE 0.00 NC RESOLUTION NO. 95-229 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REZONE OF RlVERVIEW RANCHES, UNIT 2, TRACT 4005-B, LOT 8, IN THE SYZ OF SECTION 13, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, FROM A-R (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL) ZONE TO R-E (RESIDENTIAL-RECREATION) ZONE, IN THE SOUTH MOHA VE V ALLEY AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on June 5, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Rezone for the above described property as requested by Eugenie Collier of Fort Mohave, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the applicant is requesting this zone change to allow a second residence be put on this lot so that she can take care of her disabled father. As stated in her letter with the application, Ms. Collier does not plan on using this mobile home for anything else. The site is located south of Bullhead City and east of Highway 95. The site is accessed from Highway 95 via Camp Mohave Road to Rio Verde Drive, then north on Rio Verde Drive to River Valley Road, then east to Mountain Meadow Way, then north on Mountain Meadow Way to the site. The site is located on the east side of Mountain Meadow Way, and WHEREAS, the property has gently rolling hills sloping to the west, and has a double-wide mobile home on it. The surrounding land uses consist of a double-wide mobile home to the north and two homes across the street to the west. The remainder of the lots are vacant, and WHEREAS, review ofFEMA FIRM Panel #040058-2435D indicates this parcel to be in Zone C, not in the FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area. A Floodplain Use Permit is not required, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on May 10, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for a Rezone subject to the following: 1. This property will be rezoned R-EIlA (Residential-Recreation/One Acre Minimum Lot Size). 2. The appropriate zoning, building, environmental and floodplain permits will be obtained. 3. The rezone shall not become effective until 30 days after final approval of the change in classification by the Board of Supervisors, as per ARS ll-829E. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 21,1995, and posted May 19, 1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. .. . .
