A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE APPROVED
PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAN FOR SAGE ESTATES, TRACT 4105, BEING THE NY, SE'.I..
NW'.I.. AND THE NY, NY, SY, SE'.I.. NW'.I.. OF SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 22
WEST,LOCATED IN THE SOUTHMOHA VE VALLEY AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on Monday,
June 5, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an
Extension of Time to J. T. Miller, Sage Investments Inc. of Calgary, Alberta, Canada for the above described
Preliminary Subdivision Plan. The engineer of record for the subdivision is McLaughlin-Kmetty Engineers
Inc. of Phoenix, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the subdivision is located east of Highway 95 and south ofEI Rodeo Road, and
WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan depicts 25 acres subdivided into 84 single-family lots, ranging
in size from 8,100 square feet to 11,500 square feet, and
WHEREAS, a letter dated April 4, 1995, from J. T. Miller of Sage Investments Inc., requested an
Extension of Time noting the following information. "Please be advised that we are still proceeding with
our plans for the above subdivision. With all the problems some areas are experiencing with septic systems,
we have decided to go with the Airport Sanitary District." Information relating to the Airport Sanitary
District was submitted by the developer, and
WHEREAS, the Mohave County Public Works Department requires compliance with current
requirements; compatibility with drainage and circulation patterns of recent nearby development, and
WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan for this tract was approved by the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors on November 5, 1990, per BaS Resolution No. 90-302. The first Extension of Time was
granted on January 4, 1993, per BaS Resolution No. 93-5; the second Extension of Time was granted on
July 5, 1994, per BaS Resolution No. 94-205. Article 3.10-1 states, "Upon application to the commission
and prior to the expiration of the time limit, extensions in increments of one (1) year may be granted by the
Board if the subdivider is actively processing the Final Plat. If such action is not taken then all proceedings
relating to the plat shall be terminated", and
WHEREAS, this will be the third Extension of Time, and

WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
May 10, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time subject to the
following:
I. Compliance with all conditions of BaS Resolution Nos. 90-302, 93-5, and 94-205.
2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until November, 1995.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of
general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 21,1995 and posted on May 19, 1995, as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on June 5, 1995, APPROVED this Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and
Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
