RESOLUTION NO. 95-218
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN ABANDONMENT OF A 25-FOOT ROADWAY IN
VIRGIN ACRES, TRACT NO.1, BLOCK 201, LOTS 6 AND 11, SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP 41
NORTH, RANGE 15 WEST, IN THE ARIZONA STRIP AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on Monday,
June 5, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an
Abandonment of the above described property as requested by Dewey Peters of Littlefield, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the owner proposes to abandon the 25-foot roadway so that the land, in combination
with other lots, can be developed into an RV park. The owner is applying for the rezone of the property for
the RV park at the same time as the abandonment, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
May 10, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Abandonment subject to the following:
I. That the 12.5 feet on the northern boundary of Lot 6 and the 12.5 feet on the southern
boundary of Lot 11, Virgin Acres, Tract No. I, Block 201, Section 32, Township 41 North,
Range 15 West in the Arizona Strip Area, Mohave County, Arizona be abandoned.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of
general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 21 and May 28, 1995 and posted on May
19,1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on June 5, 1995, APPROVED this abandonment as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and
Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
