PAGE i OF 2 HOKAVE (CfUtHY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 Ne RESOLUTION NO. 95-283 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A REZONE OF GOLDEN SAGE RANCHOS, UNIT 61, BLOCK A, LOT 16, IN SECTION 23, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, FROM A-R/2A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/TWO ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE TO A-R/IA (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/ONE ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, IN THE GOLDEN V ALLEY AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on July 5, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time for a Rezone for the above described property as requested by Ray Jones, Frances Winkel and Geraldine Jones of Bullhead City, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the property is located north of Highway 68 between Laguna Road and Estrella Road. This property is accessed from Highway 68 via north on Milky Way Road to Chino Drive, then east on Chino Drive to Laguna Road, then north on Laguna Road to McElmo Drive, then west to the site. The site is located on the southeast corner of McElmo Drive and Cowlic Road. and WHEREAS, this Rezone was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on June 6, 1994, via BOS Resolution No. 94-177, and WHEREAS, this Extension of Time was requested by the applicant in his letter dated April 19, 1995, in which he cited "unforeseeable medical circumstances" as a reason to ask for an Extension of Time. This will allow the applicant time to meet the conditions as required by BOS Resolution No. 94-177, and WHEREAS, this will be the first Extension of Time for this property, which complies with the approved Extension of Time policy, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on June 14, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time subject to the following: 1. Continued compliance with the conditions of BOS Resolution No. 94-177. 2. This Extension of Time for a Rezone will be in effect until June 6, 1996. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County. Arizona, June 18, 1995, and posted June 16, 1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. ~ . . . . RESOLUTION NO. 95-283 PAGE 2 OF ~r: 2:;91. PG 2 442 (FEE;95-35085) Page 2 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supcrvisors. at their regular meeting on Wednesday, July 5, 1995, APPROVED this Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning COlTlmission and outlined herein.
