PAGE 1 OF ~ MOHAVE (DUNH BOARD OF SUPERVISORS eCCORDING FEE 0.00 NC RESOLUTION NO. 95-277 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A RESCISSION OF BOS RESOLUTION NOS. 90-75 AND 90-76 WHICH APPROVED THE PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAN AND REZONING FOR DESERT COVE, TRACT 4094, BEING LOTS 9, 10 AND 11, BLOCK A, FORT MOHA VE MESA RANCHOS, SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MOHA VE VALLEY AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on July 5, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Rescission of a Resolution of a Preliminary Subdivision Plan and rezone for the above described property, and WHEREAS, the resolution which approved this subdivision indicates the developers of this tract are Larry Sharp and Lina Vance, Bullhead City, Arizona. The engineer of record is noted as Ray Stadler, P.E., Stadler Consulting Engineers, Phoenix, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the subdivision is located east of Highway 95, west of Calle Valle Vista and south of Hammer Lane. The Preliminary Plan depicted approximately 15 acres subdivided into 51 single-family residential lots, and WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan for this tract was approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on April 2, 1990, per BOS Resolution No. 90-75. The first Extension of Time was granted on. June I, 1992, per BOS Resolution No. 92-179. The property was rezoned per BOS Resolution No. 90-76, and WHEREAS, the second Extension of Time was required on April 2, 1993, and the third extension on April 2, 1994, which would have brought the subdivision current. No current Extensions of Time have been requested by the owner. Letters have been sent to the owners notifying them that approval of their subdivision expired, and an Extension of Time was required. There has been no response to the Planning and Zoning Department's inquiries, and WHEREAS, the Mohave County Public Works Department requests compliance with current requirements; final plats must show compatibility with drainage and circulation patterns of recent nearby development, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on June 14, ] 995. the Commission recommended APPROVAL for a Rescission of a Resolution subject to the following: ]. BOS Resolution Nos. 90-75, 90-76 and 92-179 be rescinded. . . . . RESOLUTION NO. 95-277 Page 2 f'AGE 2 OF 2 BK 2591 PG ~30 (FEE~95-35a79) WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, June ]8, 1995, and posted June 16, 1995, as required by Arizona Rcvised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Wednesday, July 5, 1995, APPROVED this Rescission of a Resolution as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
