PAGE 1 OF 2 fil1HAV[ COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 HC 3 RESOLUTION NO. 95-274 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN ABANDONMENT OF AN EIGHT-FOOT PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT ON THE WEST SIDE OF LOT 6 EXCEPT THE NORTHERN 8 FEET, BLOCK 6, SUN VALLEY, TRACT 4018-A, SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MOHA VE VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on July 5, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Abandonment to Bill Vivian of Bullhead City, Arizona, on the above described property, and WHEREAS, the proposed abandonment is located east of Highway 95 and south of Joy Lane Boulevard. The site can be accessed from Highway 95 from Joy Lane, then east to Antelope Drive, then south to Blackfoot Road, then west to the proposed abandonment, and WHEREAS, the land adjacent to the proposed abandonment is vacant and no utility companies serving this development are using the easement. Citizens Utilities Company has indicated that they are not opposed to the abandonment, and WHEREAS, the existing utilities serving this subdivision run from east to west in the rear of the lots or along the road in the front of the lots. The proposed easement requested for abandonment runs from north to south along the side yard line, and WHEREAS, the applicant proposed to abandon the entire 16-foot PUE running north to south from Lots 8-9, Block 2 to Lots 8-9, Block 7. Because the applicant can only request an abandonment of property that is in their ownership, the applicant has asked that the easement on their property be the only portion of the PUE abandoned, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on June 14. 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an abandonment subject to the following: I. The eight-foot public utility easement on the west side of Lot 6 except the northern 8 feet, Block 6, SUN VALLEY, Tract 40] 8-A, Section 36, Township 19 North, Range 22 West be abandoned. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, June 18, 1995, and posted June 16, 1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. 4 .
