RESOLUTION NO. 95-271
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE APPROVED
PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAN AND PETITION OF EXCEPTION FOR RODEO PARK,
TRACT 4145, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF A PORTION OF SECTION 23, TOWNSHIP 19
NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MOHA VE VALLEY AREA, MOHA VE
COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on July 5,
1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of
Time to Dennis Gootrad, owner/developer, represented by G. Kelly Grier of Stovall Engineers, Inc. of
Bullhead City, Arizona, for the above described Preliminary Subdivision Plan. The engineer of record for
the subdivision is Stovall Engineers, Inc. of Bullhead City, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the subdivision is located east of Highway 95 and north of EI Rodeo Road, and
WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan depicts 23 acres subdivided into 115 multiple-family lots, ranging
in size from 6,000 square feet to 15,000 square feet, and
WHEREAS, a letter dated April 17, 1995, from Stovall Engineers indicates the following: "The
owner/developer intends to develop this project, and has been holding approvals until it becomes feasible
to hook up to a sewer system. Phase A Final Plat and Improvement Plans are being developed at this time.
and will be submitted to the Planning and Zoning Department for review", and
WHEREAS, the Mohave County Public Works Department requests compliance with current
requirements; final plats must show compatibility with drainage and circulation patterns of recent nearby
development, and
WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan for this tract was approved by the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors on June 7, 1993, per BOS Resolution No. 93-155. Article 3.10-1 states, "Upon application to
the commission and prior to the expiration of the time limit, extensions in increments of one (I) year may
be granted by the Board if the subdivider is actively processing the Final Plat. If such action is not taken
then all proceedings relating to the plat shall be terminated", and
WHEREAS, this will be the first Extension of Time, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
June 14. 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time subject to the

2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until June 7,1996.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of
general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, June] 8, 1995, and posted June 16, 1995, as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
MOHA VE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Wednesday, July 5,1995, APPROVED this Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
