RESOLUTION NO. 95-308
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REZONE OF NEW KINGMAN ADDITION, UNIT 9,
TRACT 1102, BLOCK 136, LOTS 35 AND 36, IN SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE
16 WEST, FROM C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) ZONE TO R-l (SINGLE.FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL) ZONE, IN THE KINGMAN AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on July 5,
1995, a public hearing was conducted to detennine whether approval should be granted for a Rezone for the
above described property as requested by Richard and Gloria Gehring of Sun Valley, California, and
WHEREAS, the applicant proposes this zone change to allow the installation of mobile homes, This
property is located north of Northern A venue and east of North Bank Street in the New Kingman Addition,
The site is accessed from Northern A venue via north on Me]ody Street to Neal Avenue, then east on Nea]
Avenue to the site. The property is located on the north side of Neal Avenue between North Me]ody Street
and Powell Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the property is flat and vacant. The surrounding land uses consist of sing]e-family
residences and vacant lots on all sides, except for the east side where there is an auto parts store, and
WHEREAS, review of FEMA FIRM Panel #040058-2165C indicates this parcel to be in Zone AH,
in the FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area. A Floodp]ain Use Permit is required for any development, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
June ]4, ]995, the Commission recommended APPROV AL for a Rezone subject to the following:
1. Lots 35 and 36 will be rezoned R-l (Single-Family Residential),
2. The appropriate zoning, building, environmental and floodplain permits will be obtained,
3. The rezone shall not become effective until 30 days after final approval of the change in
classification by the Board of Supervisors, as per ARS J 1 -829E,
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Dai]y Miner, a newspaper of
genera] circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, June 18, 1995, and posted June 16. 1995, as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their rcgular meeting
on Wedncsday, July 5, 1995, APPROVED this Rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
