RESOLUTION NO. 95-305
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN ABANDONMENT OF A 16-FOOT PUBLIC UTILITY
AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT ON THE EAST SIDE OF PARCEL K, WALNUT CREEK, UNIT
2, TRACT 3013, SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 20 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, LOCATED IN THE
MOHA VE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on Ju]y 5,
] 995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Abandonment
to N. J, Devlin of Kingman, Arizona, on the above described property, and
WHEREAS, the proposed abandonment is located north of Oatman Road and east of McConnico
Road, The site can be accessed from Interstate 40 from the Oatman/Highway 66 exit, then north to Oatman
Road, then west to the proposed abandonment, and
WHEREAS, this site is the location of the McKee Food/Litt]e Debbie building. Parcel K and the
parcel to the east were combined and re-subdivided to create new lots that are more suitable for
development. This easement runs through the center of the McKee site, and
WHEREAS, this Public Utility and Drainage Easement was created at the time Walnut Creek
Estates Unit 2 was recorded, The easement is not being used and the utility companies that serve this area
have indicated that they have no intentions of using the easement. Citizens Utilities Company has indicated,
they have no objection to the abandonment of this easement, and
WHEREAS, the abandonment of this easement will eliminate any conflicts with the development
of the parcels, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
June 14, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an abandonment subject to the following:
I, The 16-foot public utility and drainage easement on the east side of Parcel K, WALNUT
CREEK, Unit 2, Tract 3013, Section 7, Township 20 North, Range I7 West, be abandoned,
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of
general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, June 18, 1995, and posted June 16, 1995, as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Wednesday, July 5, 1995, APPROVED (his abandonment as recornmended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein,
