RESOLUTION NO. 95-430 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN ABANDONMENT OF AN 8-FOOT PUBLIC UTILITIES EASEMENT AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LOT 24, BLOCK 4, COLLEGE HEIGHTS, TRACT 1105, SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, IN THE KINGMAN AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on October 2, 1995, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an abandonment of the above described easements as requested by Grace Welsh of Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the proposed abandonment site is located west of Huffman Road between Jagerson Avenue and Christianson Avenue. The site is accessed from Stockton Hill Road via east on Jagerson A venue to Huffman Road, then north to the site, and WHEREAS, there is a home located on Lot 24 with other residential homes surrounding the site. This utility and drainage easement was established at the time the subdivision was recorded, and WHEREAS, there are no utility lines within the easement, and it appears that no drainage is running through the easement, and WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above captioned item: a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations. b. The proposed action is not in conflict with the Mohave County General Plan, and the property is designated an Urban Development Area. WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on September 13, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Abandonment subject to the following: I. That the 8-foot Public Utilities Easement (PUE) and Drainage Easement (DE) located on the south side of Lot 24, Block 4, COLLEGE HEIGHTS, Tract 1105, Section 25, Township 22 North, Range 17 West, be abandoned. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, September 17 and September 24,1995, and posted September 15, 1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. ~ RESOLUTION NO. 95-430 PAGE 2 OF 2 ell, 2630 PG 672 FEE~95052159 Page 2 . . NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, October 2,1995, APPROVED this Abandonment request as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
