RESOLUTION NO. 95-348 ON RANGELAND REFORM WHEREAS< the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in Regular Session this 7th day of August, 1995, and WHEREAS, H.R. 1713, and S. 852, The Livestock Grazing Act of 1995, have been introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate respectively; and WHEREAS, these bills would make changes to existing grazing law by tying the fee charged on public rangelands to the profitability of each regional livestock industry; and WHEREAS, these bills provide for the appointment of local elected to any regional management or advisory committee to assure the broadest range of community interests are represented in decisions affecting rangeland management; WHEREAS, the National Association of Counties adopted a resolution of support on July 25, 1995: THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mohave County Board of Supervisors supports the passage of legislation which encompasses the provisions contained in H.R.1 713 and S.852 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of August, 1995.
