WHEREAS, A.R.S. 11-251 .05 allows Mohave County to enact
such ordinances as may be necessary to carry out this statutory
responsibilities of the County, and
WHEREAS, Route 66 is a County highway under the
jurisdiction and management of Mohave County, and
WHEREAS, because of the extreme curvature of Route 66 from
Eds Camp to Silver Creek Road certain large trucks traveling on
the highway create a safety hazard, and
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the residents
of the County to limit the size of vehicles traveling on this
highway to a maximum length of 40 feet or less.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDAINED setting a limit
on the size of vehicles traveling Route 66 from Eds Camp to
Silver Creek to a size of a maximum length of 40 feet or less.
