RESOLUTION NO. 96-19
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE RESCISSION OF BOS RESOLUTION NOS. 93-63 AND
94-137 WHICH APPROVED THE EXTENSIONS OF TIME FOR THE PRELIMINARY
SUBDIVISION PLAN FOR GOLDEN ACRES, TRACT 3028, BEING THE SYZ OF PARCEL 62
AND PARCELS 66, 67 AND 68 IN SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 18 WEST, IN
THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on January
2, 1996, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for the rescission
of the resolutions for the Extensions of Time for the Preliminary Subdivision Plan for the above described
property, and
WHEREAS, this property is located south of Highway 68 between Colorado Road and Teddy
Roosevelt Road. The site is accessed from Highway 68 via south on Colorado Road to Redwall Drive. The
property is north of Redwall Drive between Colorado Road and La Osa Road. The property is vacant.
There are no significant drainage patterns that cross the property, and
WHEREAS, this Preliminary Subdivision Plan was conditionally approved by the Mohave County
Board of Supervisors on January 7, 1991, via BOS Resolution No. 91-18. It was extended on March 8,
1993, with BOS Resolution No. 93-63. It was extended again with BOS Resolution No. 94-137 on May 2,
1994. No additional Extensions of Time have been requested by the owner. Letters have been sent to the
owner notifying them that their approval of their subdivision expired and an Extension of Time was
required. There were no responses to the Planning and Zoning Department's inquiries. The Mohave County
General Plan designates this area as an Urban Development Area, and
WHEREAS, BOS Resolution Nos. 91-18 and 91-19 were rescinded via BOS Resolution No. 95-456
on November 6, 1995. The Extension of Time resolutions for this property, BOS Resolution Nos. 93-63
and 94-137, were inadvertently left out of the resolution that rescinded the Preliminary Subdivision Plan and
the Rezoning, and
WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above captioned item:
a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
c, The site has legal access.
d. This rescission is for the Extensions of Time that were omitted from BOS Resolution No.
95-456 that rescinded the Preliminary Subdivision Plan and the Rezoning.

WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
December 13, 1995, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for a rescission of the resolutions for the
Extensions of Time for the Preliminary Subdivision Plan for Golden Acres, Tract 3028, subject to the
following:
1. That BOS Resolution Nos. 93-63 and 94-137 be rescinded.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of
general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, December 17, 1995, and posted December 18,
1995, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Tuesday, January 2,1996, APPROVED this rescission of the resolutions for the Extensions of Time for
the Preliminary Subdivision Plan for Golden Acres, Tract 3028, as recommended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
