NEY. SWy. OF SECTION 8, THE SEY. SEY. NEY. SWy. OF SECTION 8 AND THE WY1 WY1 SEY. NEY. SWy. OF SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, ALL LYING SOUTHERLY OF THE HIGHWAY 93 RIGHT-OF-WAY, IN THE KINGMAN AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on June 3, 1996, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for Rescission of the Resolution for the Rezone of the above described property as requested by Marsha Brown of Monterey, California, and WHEREAS, this property is located approximately one-quarter mile south ofthe US Highway 93 and State Highway 68 intersection. The site is accessed directly from US Highway 93. The property is vacant with gently rolling hills. There are no significant drainage patterns crossing the property, and WHEREAS, this property was conditionally approved for a rezone to C-2 (General Commercial) by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on July 17, 1978, via Resolution P&ZC No. 78-58. It was never extended and none of the conditions were ever met. There were no responses to the Planning and Zoning Department's inquiry concerning an Extension of Time. The Mohave County General Plan designates this area as a Rural Development Area, and WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above captioned item: a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations, b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan. c. The site has legal access. d. There are no significant environmental features affecting the site. WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on May 8, 1996, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of the Rescission of Resolution P&ZC No. 78- 58,and WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 19, 1996, and posted May 17, 1996, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. . PAGE 2 OF 2 BK 2742 PG 227 FEE~9630645 Page 2 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, June 3, 1996, APPROVED this Rescission of Resolution P&ZC No. 78-58 as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
