NWV. OF SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 20 NORTH, RANGE 18 WEST, IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. . WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on September 3, 1996, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for the Rescission of the Resolutions for the Rezone and the Extension of Time for the Rezone for the above described property owned by Kristan L. and Joan Mae Harrison of Carson City, Nevada, and WHEREAS, this property is located south of Oatman Road, between Sacrmnento Road and Centenial Road. The site is accessed from Oatman Road via south on Sacrmnento Road to the site, located on the east side approximately one-quarter mile south of Oatman Road. The property is vacant and flat, sloping slightly to the southwest. There are no significant drainage pattems. The Mohave County General Plan designates this area as a Suburban Development Area, and WHEREAS, this property was conditionally rezoned to A-R/2A (Agricultural-ResidentiallTwo Acre Minimum Lot Size) by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on April 4, 1994, via BOS Resolution No. 94-106. It was first extended on May 1, 1995, with BOS Resolution No. 95-181. A second Extension of Time was DENIED with BOS Resolution No. 96-151 on May 6, 1996. A certified letter has been sent to the owners informing them that the rezone and Extension of Time resolutions would be scheduled for rescission, and WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above captioned item: a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations. b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan. c. This is an administrative file-closing action in conjunction with the action and intent ofBOS Resolution No. 96-151. WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on August 14, 1996, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for the rescission ofBOS Resolution Nos. 94-106 and 95-181. , ~ . . PAGE 2 OF 2 BK 2788 PG 227 FEE~9650019 RESOLUTION NO. 96-316 Page 2 WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, August 17, 1996, and posted August 16, 1996, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 3,1996, APPROVED the rescission ofBOS Resolution Nos. 94-106 and 95-181 as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
