RESOLUTION NO. 96-392
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ROAD RENAMING IN SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 22
NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, THE PROPOSED ROAD RENAMING BEING ARROYO SECA, IN
THE MOHA VE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on November
4, 1996, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Road
Renaming in the above described area, as requesled by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning
Department, and
WHEREAS, the proposed road to be renamed is accessed from Kingman via north on Hwy. 93, then
east on Chea Drive to the road bearing the old name of Tamarisk Drive, which extends northwesterly
approximately 870 feet, to Ihe intersection of Arroyo Seca and Tamarisk Drive. The proposed road renaming
fronts Lots 19 through 24, located in So-Hi Estates Unit 3, Tract 1019, and
WHEREAS, this request has been reviewed and approved by the Mohave County Rural Addressing
Coordinator, and
WHEREAS, following are Findings of Fact for the above captioned item:
a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The property owners surrounding that portion of Tamarisk Drive to be renamed Arroyo Seca
have been notified by the Rural Addressing Coordinator.
c. The proposed action complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
d. The renaming of this roadway will not cause undue harm or inconvenience to the public.
e. The renaming of this roadway will facilitate faster response times for emergency response
vehicles.
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
October 9, 1996, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for a Road Renaming, and
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, October 19, 1996, and posted October 18, 1996, as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Monday, November 4, 1996, APPROVED this Road Renaming as recommended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
