OF SECTION 23, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, FOR A WELL SITE FOR BERMUDA WATER COMPANY, INC., IN AN A-R (AGRICUL TURAL- RESIDENTIAL) ZONE, IN THE SOUTH MOHA VE VALLEY AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on May 5, 1997, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether an Extension of Time for a Zoning Use Permit should be granted for the above described property as requested by Bermuda Water Company, Inc., of . , Bullhead City, Arizona, beihg represented by G. Kelly Grier, Burton Engineering, Inc., of Bullhead City, Arizona,and WHEREAS, this property is located south of Bullhead City, east of State Highway 95 between El Rodeo Road and Camp Mohave Road. The site is accessed from State Highway 95 via east on El Rodeo Road to the site, located on the north side approximately one-quarter of a mile east of State Highway 95. The property is vacant and flat, sloping slightly to the west toward the Colorado River. There are no significant drainage patterns. The Mohave County General Plan designates this area as an Urban Development Area, and WHEREAS, this Zoning Use Permit was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on March 7,1996, per BOS Resolution No. 96-86, and WHEREAS, the applicant's representative requested in a letter dated February 28,1997, that the Zoning Use Permit be extended for one year. The letter stated that "Bermuda Water Company is applying for a block wall permit and the site plan is being processed by the Planning Department. Arrangements are being made to drill the well; however, this cannot be accomplished by March 7, (1997).", and WHEREAS, this will be the first Extension of Time for this property, and WHEREAS, a review ofFEMA FIRM Panel #040058-2445C indicates the parcel described to be in Zone AO, in the Special Flood Hazard Area, and WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above captioned item: a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations. b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan. . . The site has legal access. e. There are no significant environmental features affecting the site, except for the noted Special Flood Hazard Area. f. This request complies with the Extension of Time Policy. WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on April 9, 1997, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time for a Zoning Use Permit subject to the following: I. Continued compliance with the conditions ofBOS Resolution No. 96-86. 2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until March 7, 1998. WHEREAS, the nptice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Moliave County, Arizona, April 19, 1997, and posted on April 18, 1997, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, May 5,1997, APPROVED this Extension of Time for a Zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
