MlCROALMEU IRD!XED 9730388 BK 2912 PG 568 OFFICIAL RECORDS OF MOHAVE COUNTY, f JOAN MC CALL, MOHAVE COUNTY RECOROEf 06/09/97 02:56P PAGE 1 OF 2 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 RESOLUTION NO. 97-200 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A RESCISSION OF BOS RESOLUTION NO. 90-93, WHICH CONDITIONALLY APPROVED THE PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR COLLEGE VIEW ESTATES, TRACT 3027, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF A PORTION OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, IN THE KINGMAN AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on June 2, 1997, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether the approvals for the above-described project should be rescinded. The owner/developer of this subdivision is Park West Communities, Inc., Ray Totah, President, Irvine, California. The engineer of record was Robert V. Lord of Intermountain Consulting Services, Inc., Boulder, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the subdivision is located approximately one-half mile northeast of the City of Kingman. The site is accessed via Stockton Hill Road, then east approximately one-quarter mile along Jagerson A venue, then north through the Kingman Ranch Mobile Home Park to the property, and WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan depicts 44 acres subdivided into 200 mobile home lots, and WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan was approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on April 2, 1990, per BOS Resolution No. 90-93. The subdivision was not actively processed and was originally scheduled for rescission in 1995. The developer requested that the rescission be continued to a later meeting, but later submitted a letter dated September 6, 1995, concurring with the rescission. Staff changes caused the rescission of this project to be overlooked until recently. The developer has indicated concurrence with the rescission action. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on May 14, 1997, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of the rescission of this subdivision, and WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 17, 1997, and posted on May 16, 1997, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
