WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on July 7, 1997, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether the conditional approvals for the above- described project should be rescinded. The owner of record for this property is Bullhead I, CSC, Long Beach, California. The engineer of record was Holland West, Inc., and WHEREAS, the subdivision is located approximately three miles south of Bullhead City. The site is accessed via State Highway 95, then east one and one-half miles along Joy Lane, north to the property, and WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan depicts 73 acres subdivided into approximately 200 residential lots, primarily consisting of single-family residential lots, with some multi, family residential uses and a neighborhood commercial parcel, and WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan was approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on July 2,1990, per BOS Resolution No. 90-169. The conditional rezoning of this property was approved on October I, 1990, per BOS Resolution No. 90-269. The first Extension of Time for the conditional approval of the Preliminary Plan was approved per BOS Resolution No. 92-385. The second extension was approved per BOS Resolution No. 94-95. The third extension was approved per BOS Resolution No. 94-296, expiring July 2,1995. All resolutions requiring compliance with the conditions ofBOS Resolution Nos. 90-169 and 90-269 will be voided with the rescission of the approvals for this project, and WHEREAS, advance notice was sent to the owner of record on February 12, 1997, advising that the project would be scheduled for rescission if the subdivision was not processed or otherwise brought into compliance with the requirements of the Subdivision Regulations within 90 days. No submittals or contact have been received by the department. The developer has not actively processed this subdivision, and WHEREAS, all notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on June II, 1997, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for the Rescission of this subdivision, and RESOLUTION NO. 97-226 Page 2 . . PAGE 2 OF 2 BK 2929 PG 472 FEE~9737176 WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, June 21, 1997, and posted June 20, 1997, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, July 7,1997, APPROVED the Rescission of this subdivision as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
