WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on June 2, 1997, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether the approvals for the above-described project should be rescinded. The owners/developers of this subdivision are Lee Bruno and Jay Schritter, Kingman, Arizona. The engineer of record is Mohave Engineering Associates, Inc., Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the subdivision is located immediately southeast of the City of Kingman, adjacent to the city limits. The site is accessed via Hualapai Mountain Road, then northeast on Seneca Street, then easterly one-half mile along Cheyenne Avenue to the property, and WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan depicts 53 acres subdivided into 64 single-family residential lots, and WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan was approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on May 4, 1992, per BOS Resolution No. 92-156. A separate Petition of Exception was approved for this project on June I, 1992, per BOS Resolution No. 92-205. The property was conditionally rezoned per BOS Resolution No. 92-206. The first Extension of Time for the conditional approval of the Preliminary Plan was approved by the Board of Supervisors on May 2, 1994, per BOS Resolution No. 94-140. The second extension was approved on May I, 1995, per BOS Resolution No. 95-201, expiring May 4,1996. The subdivision has not been actively processed. The developer has indicated concurrence with the rescission action. The rescission of the above-referenced resolutions will void the conditions ofBOS Resolution Nos. 94-140 and 95-201. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on May 14, 1997, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of the rescission of this subdivision, and WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 17, 1997, and posted on May 16, 1997, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
