NEYa NEV. NEV. OF SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 20 WEST, IN THE LAKE HA V ASU CITY AREA, MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on August 4, 1997, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether an Abandonment should be granted for the above-described easement as requested by owners Craig and Barbara Reynolds, represented by Donald W. Van Brunt of the Mohave County Economic Development Authority, Inc., Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the site is east of Arizona State Highway 95 and south of Chenowith Drive. The site is part of a 660-foot long easement which intersects with Chenowith Drive, approximately 700 feet east of Highway 95. The easement begins approximately 325 feet south ofChenowith Drive and extends southward 330 feet to the end of the parcel, and WHEREAS, the owners propose the easement abandonment to allow for a new boat and trailer manufacturing facility. The General Plan specifies this area for urban development, and WHEREAS, Citizens Utilities Company and various cable television providers have reviewed the owners' petition and have no objection to the easement abandonment, and WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works does not object to the abandonment, and WHEREAS, a review ofFEMA FIRM Panel #040058-31 lOB indicates the road described to be in Zone C, not in the FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area, and WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item: a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations. b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan. c. The site is adequate for the action intended and the use is consistent with the surroundings and terrain. d. The site has legal access. e. The site has no significant environmental features. PAGE 2 OF 2 BK 2941 PG 566 FEE~9741962 WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on July 9, 1997, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for the Abandonment, and WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, July 19, 1997 and July 26, 1997, and posted July 18, 1997, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, August 4, 1997, APPROVED this Abandonment as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
