WHEREAS, on March 9, 1998, the Mohave County Supervisors acknowledged receipt and accepted a
letter of pelition requesting that roadways in the Fort Mohave Mesa Ranchos Subdivision be accepted into the
Mohave County Road System for Maintenance; and
WHEREAS, a public meeting was held on May 4, 1998, in the Mohave County Board of Supervisom'
Chambers at which time the request to accept was discussed and cons. idered by the Board; and
WHEREAS, no one appeared to object and no written statement of objeclion opposing the granting of the
request of said petition were received, and
WHEREAS, these roads have been laid out, constructed, and opened prior Jane 13, 1975; and
WHEREAS, an investigation has been made by the Cmmty Engineer and Coanty Attorney who have
reported to the Board that these roads meet the provisions of Arizona Revised Statutes § 28-6705.B. for Public road
and street maintenance; and
WHEREAS, these roads have been maintained by the County for more than 20 years and that the
provisions of Article 4.11 oftbe Mohave Coant), Subdivision and Road Maintenance RegulatimLs either have been
met or do not apply; and
WHEREAS, after a review of the requests, reports, and recommendations regarding this matter, the
Board of Supervisors has determined that it is in the public interest to formally cmffirm prior acceptance of these
roads into the County ~stem for Maintenance.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors as of this date does accept into
the Mohave County Road System, for the purpose of maintenance,
Hammer Lane - From Highway 95 east to E1 Ganadero Drive (Sec. 26, T19N, R2~W)
Wagon Wheel Lane - From Highway 95 east to Moantain View Road (Sec. 26, T19N, R22W)
Calle Valle Vista - From Joy Lane north to Hammer Lane (Sec. 26, T 19N, R22W)
Calle Del Media - From Joy Lane north to Hammer Lane (Sec. 26, T19N, R22W)
Cholla Drive - From Joy Lane north to Hammer Lane (Sec. 26, Tt9N, R22W)
Jack Rabbit Drive - From Joy Lane North to Hammer Lane (Sec. 26, TI 9N, R22W)
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED, that the streets will be maintained only to their current degree of
improvement as anpaved roadways in accordance with Standard Specification 163 at which they are now being
accepted by the Coanty and that Public Funds may be expended for maintenance of these streets herein described if
and when a general public need exists for such maintenance.
