WHE~AS, at the regul~ mee~g of the Mohave Co~W Bo~d of Supe~isors held on Feb~a~
2, 1998, a public hearing was conducted to dete~ine whether ~ Extension of Time for a Rezone should
be grated for the above-described prope~, ~ requested by Willi~ W. ~d Jo~ I. Wall of Beaver D~,
Arizona, ~d
WHEREAS, this prope~y is located no~hwest of the 1-15~i~lefield Interch~ge. The site is
accessed ~om ~e I-15 West Frontage Road, sou~ to ~e prope~. ~e prope~ is located on ~e west side
of the Frontage Road, ~d it is yacht. ~ere ~e no s~gni~c~t drainage pa~ems. The Mohave Cowry
Gener~ Pl~ designates this ~ea as a R~al Development Area ~d Li~le~el~eaver D~ is considered
~ Outlying Co~ity, ~d
~E~AS, ~is rezone w~ conditionally approved by the Mohave Cowry Bo~d of Supe~Jsors
on M~ch 10, 1995 via BOS Resolution No. 95-79. ~e first Extension of Time was not requested by the
applic~t, ~d
WHE~AS, ~e applic~t requests ~ Extension of Time for BOS Resolution No. 95-79, as stated
in his letter of November 11, 1997, and
WHE~AS, ~e prope~ o~er h~ not accomplished ~y of the conditio~ of approv~ as required
by BOS Resolution No. 95-79, and
WHE~AS, this will be the first ~d second Extensions of Time for ~is prope~y, ~d
~E~AS, a review of FEMA FI~ P~el g040058-0025B indicates ~e p~ce1 described to be
in Zone C, not in the FEMA Special Flood H~ard Area, ~d
~E~AS, the following described Findings of Fact ~e for the above-captioned item:

a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
c. The site is adequate for the action intended and the use is consistent with the smrounding
land uses and terrain.
d. The neighboring area contains land uses similar to the above-proposed action.
e. The site has legal access.
f. There are no significant environmental features affecting the site.
g. This request complies with the Extension of Time Policy.
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
January 14, 1998, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time for a Rezone
subject to the following:
1. Compliance with the conditions of BOS Resolution No. 95-79.
2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until March 10, 1998.
3. This will be the last Extension of Time unless significant progress is made to complete the
conditions of BOS Resolution No. 95-79.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, January 17, 1998, and posted on January 16, 1998, as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Monday, February 2, 1998, APPROVED this Extension of Time for a Rezone as recommended by the
Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
