A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ROAD NAMING BETWEEN DUFFY ROAD AND
DIAMOND M RANCH ROAD, IN SECTIONS 31 AND 32, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 10
WEST; AND SECTIONS 4 AND 5, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 10 WEST, THE PROPOSED
ROAD NAME BEING DOUBLE D RANCH ROAD, IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL
AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on February
2, 1998, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Road
Naming in the described area, as requested by Fred and Dave Reim of Moreno Valley, California, and
WHEREAS, the proposed road to be named is accessed from Interstate 40 via north at the Fort Rock
Traffic Interchange on Frock Road, then north approximately four miles on Dian~ond M Ranch Road to the
proposed road, Double D Ranch Road. The road runs to the southwest approximately two miles where it
intercepts Duffy Road. The surrounding area is hilly range land, and
WHEREAS, this request has been reviewed and approved by the Mohave County Rural Addressing
Coordinator, and
WHEREAS, all adjoining property owners have been notified of the proposed road naming. There
have been no objections to the proposed road name, and
WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item:
a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
c. The road has legal access.
d. The request has been reviewed and approved by the Mohave County Rural Addressing
Coordinator.
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Plarming and Zoning Conm~ission on
January 14, 1998, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of Double D Ranch Road as the proposed
road name, and
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, January 17, 1998, and posted on January 16, 1998, as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Monday, February 2, 1998, APPROVED this Road Naming as recomanended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
