HomeMy WebLinkAbout98-380 RESOLUTION NO. 98-380 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in session this 5~ day of October, 1998, and; WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County acknowledged and referred to the Mohave County Transportation Commission the Petition to Establish Apache Road as a County Highway on the 1st dy o£June, 1998, and; WHEREAS, in their September 8, 1998 meeting, the Mohave County Transportation Commission reviewed the Petition and unanimously voted to refer Petition to the Mohave County Board of Supervisors for action on the Request to Establish Apache Road as a County Highway, and; WHEREAS, on the 2Pt day of September, 1998, the Board of Supervisors o£Mohave County, Arizona, set October 5, 1998 at 11:15 a.m. in the Mohave County Board of Supervisors Meeting Room for Public Hearing the request to Establish Apache Road as a County Highway, and; WHEREAS, a map and description o£ said proposed Highway was available and the right-of-way status has been reviewed by the County Engineer and determined that the right-of- way has been or may be acquired for Public Roadway use by purchase, public easement, dedication or grant, and; WHEREAS, said hearing was held at the time and place set, and the Mohave County Board of Supervisors invited comment and considered the feasibility, advantages, disadvantages, and necessity o£said proposed County Highway, and; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Petition to Establish Apache Road as a County Highway From the NW corner of Section 6 to the SE corner of Section 13 in Golden Valley is hereby APPROVED.
