A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTION OF CALLE
DEL MEDIA AND GARDNER ROAD. FORT MOHAVE MESA AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in regular session on October 19,1998; and
WHEREAS, A.R.S. §§ 28-627, 28-64:3 and 28-85S authorize local authorities to place and maintain
traffic control devices on streets and hi&hways under their jurisdiction as deemed necessary to relulate, warn or
8uide traffic; and
WHEREAS, a Traffic Safety Committee was established to review the warrants and make recommendations
to the Board of Supervisors for establishin& traffk control devices within Mohave County; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee has reviewed the circumstances surroundin8 the warrants for
postin~ traffic control devices on certain roads as presented herein; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee has made ks recommendation for the postin8 of traff'~ control
, such roads,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works is hereby directed by the
Board of Supervisors to place the foliowin~ traffic control devices as recommended by the Traffic Safety
Committee:
Post Stop signs on the East and West side of the intersection of Calle Del Media and Gardner Road
stoppJn8 traffic travelinff on Gardner Road.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on October 19, 1998.
