RESOLUTION OF THE Mohave County Board of Supervisors
APPROViNG THE APPLICATION FOR STATE LAKE IMPROVEMENT FUNDS
for
Davis Camp
WHEREAS, the Legislature under A.R.S. § 5-382 has authorized the establishment of
the State Lake Improvement Fund program, providing funds to the State of Arizona, its political
subdivisions for acquiring lands and developing facilities for public boating purposes; and
WHEREAS, Arizona State Parks Board (BOARD) is responsible for the administration
of the program witlfin the State, setting up necessary roles and procedures governing application
by state and local agencies under the program; and
WHEREAS, said adopted procedures established by the BOARD require the applicant to
certify by resolution the approval of applications, signature authorization, the availability of local
matching funds (if applicable), and authorization to sign a Participant Agreement with BOARD
prior to submission of said applications to the BOARD; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE Board of Supervisors of Mohave
County, a body politic and corporate of the State of Arizona (herein "Mohave County"),
with authority to do so, hereby:
1. Approves the filing of an application for State Lake Improvement Fund
assistance; and
2. Certifies that the application is consistent and compatible with all adopted plans
and programs of Mohave County for boating facility and safety developments;
and
3. Agrees to comply with all appropriate procedures, guidelines, and requirements
established by the BOARD as a part of the application process; and
4. Certifies that Mohave County will comply with all appropriate state and federal
regulations, policies, guidelines, and requirements as they relate to the
application; and
5. Certifies that Mohave County has matching funds in the amount of One Hundred
Twelve Thousdand, Five Hunderd and Forty Six dollars ($112,546.00) from the
County Parks Department Enterprise Fund and in Force Account Labor and
Equipment Charges, all of which is outlined in the SLIF Grant Application; and
6. Appoints the Mohave County Parks Administrator as agent of Mohave County to
conduct all negotiations, execute and submit all documents including, but not
limited to, applications, agreements, amendments, billing statements, and so on
which may be necessary for the completion of the aforementioned project.
