A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF STOP SIGN AND RElqOVAL OF STOP SIGNS AT
THE INTERSECTION OF 4TM STREET AND EIqERSON AVENUE. CHLORIDE AREA, t, IOHAVE
COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of t4oh~ve County met in regular session on December 07,1998;
and
WHEREAS, A.R.S. §§ 28-627, 28-643 and 28-855 authorize local authorities m pl~ce and main~in
trd~'~ control devices on streets and highways under their jurisdiction as deemed necessary to regulate, warn or
guide traffic; and
WHEREAS, a Traffic Safe~/Committee was established ~o review the warrants and make recommend~ions
~o the Board of Supervisors for es~blishing traffic control devices within Mobeve County; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee has reviewed the circums~nces surrounding the warrants for
the posting and removal of traffic control devices on certain roads as presented herein; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safe~y Committee has made its recommendation for the po~ing and removal of
traffic control devices on such roads,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works is hereby directed by the
Board of Supervisors to remove and pl~ce the following traffic control devices as recommended by the t4oheve
County Deper~men~ of Engineering Traffic Control Study d~ced 4/06/97 and the Traffic Safety Committee:
Remove the ~vo exis~dng stop signs on Emerson Avenue at the intersection of 4~ Street and Post
Stop sign on the North side of the intersection on Emerson Avenue and 4~ Street stopping Sou~h
bound traffic on 4~ Street at Emerson Avenue.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on December 07, 1998.
