HomeMy WebLinkAbout98-219 INDEXED lOROFII. 98L-132266 Bt', 3098 PG 777 ,JOAN MC CALL, MOHAVE COUNTY RECORDER 06/03/9B 01:32P PAGE I OF 3 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF' SOPERVISORS RECORDING FEE ~l.)] RESOLUTION NO. 98-219 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ROAD NAMING ALONG THE EASTERN BOUNDARY OF PARCEL 17-1 AND BETWEEN PARCELS 17-1 THRU 17-10, DIAMOND M RANCHES, UNIT 2, IN SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 10 WEST, THE PROPOSED ROAD NAMES BEING BUCKSKIN PLACE AND RANCHO VIE JO ROAD, IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on June 1, 1998, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Road Naming in the described area, as requested by Carole L. Swanson of Kingman, Arizona, the property owner of Parcel 17-1, and WHEREAS, the roads to be named axe accessed from Interstate 40 via north on Fort Rock Road to Diamond M Ranch Road, then north on Diamond M Ranch Road approximately 1.2 miles to Rancho Viejo Road. Rancho Viejo Road runs east and west approximately seven-eighths (7/8) mile, from Diamond M Ranch Road to Fort Rock Road, between Parcels 17-1 thru 17-10. Buckskin Place runs north and south, from the intersection of Rancho Viejo Road and Fort Rock Road approximately one-quarter (1/4) mile along the eastern boundary of Parcel 17-1. The surrounding area is gently rolling hills. Most of the parcels are vacant, with several scattered single-family residences in the area, and WHEREAS, the request has been reviewed and approved by the Mohave County Rural Addressing Coordinator, and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed named roads have been notified by first class mail. There have been no objections to the road names, and WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item: a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations. b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan. c. The roads have legal access. WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Plmming and Zoning Commission on May 13, 1998, the Commission reconunended APPROVAL of BUCKSKIN PLACE and RANCHO VIE JO ROAD as the proposed road names as shown on Exhibit "A". PAGE 2 OF 3 8,K ~;78 PG 778 F E:~:780,~2266 RESOLUTION NO. 98-219 Page 2 WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 16, 1998, and posted on May 15, 1998, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, June 1, 1998, APPROVED BUCKSKIN PLACE and RANCHO VIE JO ROAD as the proposed road names as shown on Exhibit "A" as reconunended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
