RESOLUTION NO. 98-220
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ROAD NAMING OF ACCESS ROADS IN A PORTION OF
THE RESUBDIVISION OF RUBI ACRES OF SUNWARD HO! RANCHES, IN THE N¼ N¼ N½
OF SECTION 33, TOWNSHIP 23 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, THE PROPOSED ROAD NAMES
BEING BUENA VISTA STREET, BUENA VISTA CIRCLE AND BUENA VISTA PLACE, IN THE
MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on June l,
1998, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Road Naming
in the described ama, as requested by U. Kelly Lusk of Kingman, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the roads to be named are located east of Stockton Hill Road, between Calle Sonoita
and Calle Alamo. They are accessed from Stockton Hill Road via east on Jane Avenue to Cherum Road,
then south on Chemm Road to Calle Alamo, then east on Calle Alamo approximately two mad one-half miles
to Avenida Obregon, then north on Avenida Obregon to Buena Vista Street, located approximately 580 feet
south of Calle Sonoita. Buena Vista Street runs east and west approximately one mile, between Avenida
Obregon and Avenida Verde. Buena Vista Circle and Buena Vista Place branch offBuena Vista Street to
the north, approximately 300 feet and 860 feet east of Avenida Obregon. The surrounding area is gently
rolling hills. The surrounding property is vacant with a few scattered single-family residences, and
WHEREAS, the request has been reviewed and approved by the Mohave County Rural Addressing
Coordinator, and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed named roads have been notified by first
class mail. There have been no objections to the road names, and
WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item:
a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
c. The roads have legal access.
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
May 13, 1998, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of BUENA VISTA STREET, BUENA VISTA
CIRCLE, and BUENA VISTA PLACE as the proposed road names as shown on Exhibit "A".

WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 16, 1998, and posted on May 15, 1998, as required
by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Monday, June 1, 1998, APPROVED BUENA VISTA STREET, BUENA VISTA CIRCLE, and BUENA
VISTA PLACE as the proposed road names as shown on Exhibit "A" as recommended by the Mohave
County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
