WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in session this 1't day of
February. 1999, and;
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County acknowledged and referred to the
Mohave County Transportation ConUmssion the Petition to Establish Griffith Haul Road as a County
Highway on the 2~d day of November, 1998, and;
WHEREAS, in their November 10_ 1998 meeting, the Mohave County Transportation
Comrmssion reviewed the Petition and unanimously voted to recommend to the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors to Approve the Request to Establish Griffith Haul Road as a County Highway, and;
WHEREAS, on the 7~ day of December. 1998. the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County,
Arizona, set Februa~ 1.1999 in the Mohave County Board of Supervisors Meeting Room for Public
Hearing the request to Establish Griffith Haul Road as a County High~vay, and;
WHEREAS, a map and description of said proposed Highway was available and the right-of-way
stares has been reviewed by the County Engineer and determined that the right-of-way has been or may be
acquired for Public Roadway use by purchase, public easement, dedication or grant, and;
WHEREAS, said hearing was held at the time and place set, and the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors invited comment and considered the feasibility, advantages, disadvantages, and necessity of
said proposed County Highway, and;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Petition to Establish Griffith Haul Road as
a County Highway from Apache Road (West Section line of Section 6, Township 19 North, Range 17
West, GSRB&M, Mohave County, Arizona) easterly to the Interstate 40 Frontage Road and Right-of-
Way line (within Section 6, Township 19 North, Range 17 West GSRB&M, Mohave County, Arizona) is
hereby APPROVED.
