WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in session this lS_~_t day of
February. 1999, and;
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County acknowledged and referred to thc
Mohave County Transportation Commission the Petition to Establish Apache Road as a County Highway
on the 2"._~a day of November. 1998, and;
WHEREAS, in their Nowmbcr 10, 1998 meeting, the Mohave County Transportation
Comrmssion reviewed the Petition and unanimously voted to recommend to the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors to Approve the Request to Establish Aoache Road as a County Highway, and;
WHEREAS, on the 7TM day of December. 1998, the Board of Supecvisors of Mohave County,
Arizona, set February_ 1, 1999 in the Mohave County Board of Supervisors Meeting Room for Public
Hearing the request to Establish Avache Road as a County Highway, and;
WHEREAS, a map and description of said proposed Highway ~vas available and the fight-of-way
status has been reviewed by the County Engineer and determined that the right-of-way has been or may be
acquired for Public Roadway use by purchase, public easement, dedication or grant, and;
WHEREAS, said hearing was held at the time and place set, and the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors invited comment and considered the feasibility, advantages, disadvantages, and necessity of
said proposed County Highway, and;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Petition to Establish Apache Road as a
County Highway from its intersection with Griffith Road in Section 18, T19N, R17W, and Section 13,
T19N, R18W, north to its intersection with the Oatman Highway in Section 18, T20N, R17W, and Section
13, T20N, R18W is hereby APPROVED.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this lS_~x day of February. 1999.
