WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on March 8, 1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for the Rescission of the Resolution for the Rezone for the above-described property as requested by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Department. The property owner of record is Ernest L. Scarf of Golden Valley, Arizona, and WHEREAS, this property is located south of State Highway 68, between Aztec Road and Bacobi Road. The site is accessed from State Highway 68 via south on Hope Road to the site, located approximately 1,000 feet south of Abrigo Road. The property has a single-family residence on it and the terrain is relatively flat, sloping slightly to the southwest. There are no significant drainage patterns, and WHEREAS, this property was conditionally approved for a rezone to A-R/lA (AgricultLtral- Residential/One Acre Minimum Lot Size) by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on February 4, 1991, via BOS Resolution No. 91-49. There have not been any requests for an Extension of Time. None of the Conditions of Approval for the Rezone have been met. A certified letter was sent informing the property owner that it would be scheduled for rescission. The Mohave County General Plan designates this area as an Urban Development Area, and WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item: a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations. b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan. c. The site has legal access. d. There are no significant environmental features affecting the site. WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on February 10, 1999, the Commission recommended that BOS Resolution No. 91-49 be RESCINDED and that the zoning will revert to A-R/10A (Agricultural-Residential/Ten Acre Minimum Lot Size), and F'~E 2 OF 2 BK .-~2 PG 37¢ FEE.~9901~199 RESOLUTION NO. 99-79 Page 2 WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, February 17, 1999, and posted on February 19, 1999, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE iT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, March 8, 1999, RESCINDED BOS Resolution No.91-49 and REVERTED the zoning to A-R/ 10A (Agricultural-Residential/Ten Acre Minimum Lot Size), as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
