REVISION TO CORRECT THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF RESOLUTION 98-462
ORDERING THE FORMATION OF CENTENNIAL PARK DOMESTIC WATER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT OF MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA RECORDED IN THE
OFFICIAL RECORDS OF THE MOHAVE COUNTY RECORDER AT FEE INDEX
NUMBER 98077760, BOOK 3220, PAGE 387, DATED 12/24/1998
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the clerk of the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County,
Arizona, on November 17, 1998, praying for the establishment of a domestic water improvement district
to be known as the Centennial Park Domestic Water Improvement District of Mohave County, Arizona,
under the provisions of Sections 48-901 through 48-965, and 48-1011 through 48-1019, all inclusive,
Arizona Revised Statutes (the "County Improvement District Statutes:) for the purpose of acquiring an
existing or construction of a domestic water delivery system; and
WHEREAS, after proceedings to that end duly had and taken pursuant to Arizona Revised
Statutes, Title 48. Chapter 6, Articles 1 and 4, this Board did, on this day, conduct a public hearing on the
formation of Centennial Park Domestic Water Improvement District of Mohave County, Arizona; and
WHEREAS, notice of hearing has been given by publication and mailing as required by law;
and
WHEREAS, 0 Persons wishing to object to the establishment of the proposed district have,
before the date set for hearing, filed their objections with the Clerk of this Board, and 0 persons
appeared at the hearing and presented oral objections thereto; and
WHEREAS, evidence, oral and documentary, has been presented to this Board and this Board
has duly considered the same;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERED, AND RECORDED AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the Petition presented to this Board as a result of which it set this hearing, and the
amendment thereto, were each signed by the requisite number of owners of real property
within the proposed district, and are sufficient.
2. That the Public convenience, necessi~ and welfare will be promoted by the
establishment of the district.

3. That all the property within the proposed district will be benefitted by being formed into
such district and that said proposed district includes all of the property that would be
benefitted by being so formed.
4. That the boundaries of said District are hereby corrected, and that hereby the boundaries
are established as those more particularly set forth as:
Beginning at the Northwest comer of Section 17, Township 41 North, Range 6
West oftbe Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, and running thence South
00°06'30" East 1321.48 feet along the West Section line of said Section; thence
South 89°53'10.. East, 2531.80 feet to a point on the Westerly Right-of-Way line
of Arizona State Highway 389; thence along said Right-of-Way line in the
following two (2) courses: North 32°50'46'' West 306.78 feet; thence North
32°53. 14" West 1267.98 feet to the North Section line of said Section; thence
North 89°51'49" West, 1679.41 feet along said Section line to the point of
beginning. Consisting of the following parcels: #404-19-062, 404-19-063
Beginning at the Northeast comer of Section 18, Township 41 North, Range 6
West of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, and running thence South
00°06'30'' East 3629.99 feet along the East Section line of said Section; thence
North 89059'40,' West, 1,322.81 feet; thence North 00°05'04"West, 329.98 feet;
thence North 89059'40'. West, 1,322.69 feet to the Center Section line of said
Section; thence North 00°03'37'' West 1,319.93 feet along said Center Section
line; thence North 89059'50', West, 1,329.98 feet; thence South 00010'20" East,
1,822.45 feet; thence North 89°55q9"West, 663.12 feet; thence South 00°10'20"
East, 158.75 feet; thence South 90°00'00'' West, 316.91 feet; thence South
00°10'20'' East, 314.70 feet; thence North 89059'59" West 345.44 feet to a point
on the West Section line of said Section; thence North 00017'04" West, 4,275.04
feet along said West Section line to the Northwest comer of said section; thence
South 90°00'00" East, 2,667.69 feet along the North Section li.ne of said Section
to the North quarter comer of said Section; thence South 89°59'40'' East 2642.59
feet along the North Section line of said Section to the point of beginning.
Consisting of the following parcels: #404-19-060
Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 7 West, Gila and Salt River Base and
Meridian. Consisting of the following parcels: #404-27-040, 404-27-041.
5. That said territory is hereby declared formed into a Domestic Water Improvement
District under the corporate name of Centennial Park Domestic Water Improvement
District of Mohave County, Arizona, by which name it shall be known in all
proceedings. Said district shall be authorized to make any local improvements and take
all other actions and exercise all other powers of a domestic water improvement district
as may now or hereafter be granted under law.

6. The district shall be governed by an elected board of directors consisting of five (5)
members. The initial directors and the expiration of their terms shall be as follows:

1. Benjamin Cawley January 1, 2003
2. Kenneth C Knudson January 1, 2003
3. Richard M Timpson January 1, 2003
4. Lorin C Zitting January 1, 2001
5. Gordon K Zitting January 1, 2001
Subsequent directors shall be elected by the qualified electors of the district and will
serve for four (4) year terms.
Elections for directors will be held at the regular county general election held
immediately prior to the expiration of a term.
7. Said district shall hereafter be body corporate with the powers of a municipal
corporation for the purposes of carrying out the provisions of applicab.le law.
8. The Clerk shall mail a copy of this order to the Department of Revenue and to the
County Assessor of this County pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes section 42-483
9. A copy of this resolution will be recorded in the office of the Mohave County Recorder.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on this
8th day of March, 1999.
