A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A ZONING USE PERMIT
ON PARCELS 56-B AND 56-C AS SHOWN ON RECORD OF SURVEY BOOK 15, PAGE 60, A
PORTION OF PARCEL 56, IN THE NW~A NW~A OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH,
RANGE 18 WEST, FOR A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK IN AN A-R/10A
(AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/TEN ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, IN THE GOLDEN
VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on April 5,
1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether an Extension of Time for a Zoning Use Permit
should be granted for the above-described property as requested by Keith and Lorie R. Stockwell of Golden
Valley, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, this property is located south of State Highway 68, between Teddy Roosevelt Road
and Colorado Road. The site is accessed from State Highway 68 via south on Teddy Roosevelt Road to the
site, located on the northeast corner of Teddy Roosevelt Road and Crystal Drive, approximately 600 feet
south of Shipp Drive. The property is vacant and the terrain is relatively tim, sloping slightly to the
southeast. The surrounding land uses consist of a few scattered single-family residences and vacant lots.
There are no significant drainage patterns. The Mohave County General Plan designates this area as an
Urban Development Area, and
WHEREAS, this Zoning Use Permit was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors on April 6, 1998 per BOS Resolution No. 98-122 for a recreational vehicle park in an A-P, J10A
(Agricultural-Residential/Ten Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone, and
WHEREAS, the applicant requested in a letter dated February 1, 1999, that the Zoning Use Permit
be extended for one year. The letter stated that the applicant is having a problem obtaining financing and
is waiting on the sale of their house in California in order to complete the loan with the bank, and
WHEREAS, the property owner has not accomplished any of the conditions of approval as required
by BOS Resolution No. 98-122, and
WHEREAS, this will be the first Extension of Time for this property, and
WHEREAS, a review of FEMA FIRM Panel #040058-2325B indicates the parcel described to be
in Zone C, not in the FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area, and

The following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item:
a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
c. The site is adequate for the action intended and the use is consistent with the surrounding
land uses and terrain.
d. The site has legal access.
e. There are no significant environmental features affecting the site.
f. This request complies with the Extension of Time Policy.
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Plamfing and Zoning Commission on
March 10, 1999, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time for a Zoning Use
Permit subject to the following:
1. Compliance with the conditions of BOS Resolution No. 98-122.
2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until April 6, 2000.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, March 17, 1999, and posted on March 19, 1999, as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Monday, April 5, 1999, APPROVED this Extension of Time for a Zoning Use Permit as recommended
by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
