HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-131 99~-~2Cll666 BK 3280 F'G 1!8 OFFICIAL RECORDS OF MOHAVE COUNTY~ AZ JOAN MC CALL, MOHAVE COUNTY RECORDER 04/07/1999 12:01P PAGE I OF ~ MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE %00 RESOLUTION NO. 99-131 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ROAD NAMING BETWEEN THE NE¼ AND SE¼ OF SECTION 22 AND IN THE NW¼ SW¼ OF SECTION 22, TOWNSHIP 25 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, THE PROPOSED ROAD NAME BEING D'AMBRO RANCH ROAD, IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on April 5, 1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Road Naming in the described area, as requested by John V. D'Ambro, Jr., of Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, this proposed road to be named is located on the east side of Stockton Hill Road, approximately 23 miles north of the City of Kingman. The proposed road to be named is accessed from Kingman via north on Stockton Hill Road approximately 24.5 miles from Interstate 40 to the proposed road, located on the east side of Stockton Hill Road. The road runs to the northeast at 90 degrees to Stockton Hill Road to its intersection with the mid-section line of Section 22, then along the mid-section line to its terminus with the eastern boundary of Section 22. The surrounding area is gently rolling hills, generally sloping to the southeast, and WHEREAS, this road naming application has been reviewed and approved by the Mohave County Rural Addressing Coordinator, and WHEREAS, the only property o~vner along the aligm~ent is the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and they have issued a right-of-way grant/temporary use permit, Serial Number AZA-29952, and WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item: a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations. b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan. c. The road is legally accessible from another road right-of-way. d. The road name has been checked for compliance with the Mohave County 911 addressing regulations for road naming. WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on March 10, 1999, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of D'AMBRO RANCH ROAD as the proposed road name as shown on Exhibit "A." PAGE.= ~' nF_ BK 32813 F'G ~t9 RESOLUTION NO. 99-131 Page 2 WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, March 17, 1999, and posted on March I9, 1999, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, April 5, 1999, APPROVED D'AMBRO RANCH ROAD as the proposed road name as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
